The new Béres VitaKid C+D3 Gum Vitamin has been developed in a gummi-candy shape, popular with children but it is far more than a gummy candy. Vitamins C and D, contained in it, contribute to the normal functioning of children’s immune system, hence to the preservation of their health. The product contains oligofructose and natural food fibres. The gum vitamins are made in delicious lime and orange flavours to make children happy to eat them, and on top of that, they are sugar-free. The sweet taste of the gum vitamin comes from maltitol, which is a cornstarch-based natural sweetener and it does not contain any added artificial sweeteners. Maltitol saves the teeth, its caloric value is 40% lower than that of sugar. It absorbs slowly, hence it increases blood sugar level to a small extent, so its glycemic index is favourable.
