Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken any other medicines including non-prescription preparations.

Talk to your doctor if you take any of the following types of medicines before starting to take Béres Q10:

-        coumarin type orally administered anticoagulants (e.g. warfarin, phenprocoumon, acenocoumarol), because ubidecarenone may reduce the effect of these medicines, so coagulation may change;

  • antihypertensive medicines, because ubidecarenone may reduce blood pressure;
  • iron preparations, because vitamin E may reduce the efficacy of iron supplements;
  • vitamin A, because vitamin E may increase vitamin A absorption;
  • vitamin K, because it may lengthen coagulation time
  • so-called thiazide-type diuretics, because these medicines may inhibit zinc absorption;
  • tetracyclines and penicillamine, which inhibit the absorption of particular trace elements.

Zinc salts may reduce the absorption of fluoroquinolone-type antibiotics (levofloxacin, ciprofloxacin, norfloxacin), so special care needs to be taken in case of their co-administration.
