Vitamin C contributes to the proper functioning of the immune system, thus to health protection. Owing to its antioxidant effect, vitamin C contributes to the inhibition of harmful oxidative processes going on in the organism, it helps the absorption of iron in the organism and participates in the normal functioning of the nervous system.
