The resting place of Dr. József Béres Sr. to be a part of the National Cemetery
The National Memorial and Piety Committee has declared the resting place (Kisvárda, Akácfa street cemetery) of Dr. József Béres Sr., founder of Béres Pharmaceuticals, a part of the National Cemetery.

Curie Chemistry Competition with the support of Béres Pharmaceuticals
The Curie Foundation organized the national finals of the chemistry and environmental protection competition on 10–11 May 2019 in Szolnok where more than 300 students had the chance to demonstrate their knowledge. The main sponsor of the competition was Béres Pharmaceuticals.

The President of Béres Pharmaceuticals was awarded the commemorative medal of Dr. István Orbán by the Hungarian Pharmaceuticals Manufacturers’ Association.
Cooperation for the health of Hungarian people living in Transylvania
Béres Foundation is known to place a special emphasis on charity. One of the most important moral obligations of the largest pharmaceutical company with Hungarian ownership is to pay attention to others and help wherever possible. Most of the company’s donations are related to healing and most of the time the donation is made up of Béres products. There are strong links between Béres and the Hungarian people living across the border and the company provides continuous support for them.
The health screening programme in Covasna County, Transylvania, is organised for the third time by the Municipality of Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County and the Hetényi Géza Hospital and Medical Centre of Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County. The examinations between 12-18 June 2017 – screenings for cardiovascular risks, tests in the fields of neurology, optics, dermatology, paediatrics, bone density measurements, screenings for scoliosis and splay foot and mouth cancer screenings – will be performed by 5 doctors and 12 specialised assistants of the hospital who work in the project on a voluntary basis.
