20 YEARS FOR HEALTHY PEOPLE

Béres Pharmaceuticals, the largest pharmaceutical company in Hungarian ownership in Hungary celebrates its 20 birthday. The owners and employees of the company founded among the first ones following the political transformation have every reason to celebrate. Our products are born in our own modern development laboratory in Budapest and are produced in a world-class plant in Szolnok. In accordance with the decision of the county town’s General Assembly, in the memory Dr. József Béres, the public area enclosed by Verseghy Park and the River Tisza will bear the name of the respected scientist. Within the framework of Szolnok Town Day 2009, this is how the town salutes the founder of Béres celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

Memorial room for Dr József Béres Sr.

A memorial room was opened for the creator of Béres Drops, Dr. József Béres Sr. for his birthday at the Szolnok plant of Béres Pharmaceuticals. The researcher holding a Széchenyi Prize would have been 89 years old on 7 February.
