1.    WHAT IMMUN HERBAL BÉRES FILM-COATED TABLET IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR

Immun Herbal Béres is a traditional herbal remedy created based on long-standing use and to be administered in the cases of indications such as:
- the prevention and supplementary treatment of cold-related diseases (colds, chills).


2.    WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU TAKE IMMUN HERBAL BÉRES FILM-COATED TABLETS

Do not take Immun Herbal Béres film-coated tablets
-    if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to any of the active substances or other ingredients of Immun Herbal Béres film-coated tablets,

-    if you have systemic diseases (e.g. tuberculosis, leucosis, multiple sclerosis, generalised connective tissue disease and other autoimmune disorders, AIDS),
-    if you have kidney impairment,
-    if you have the hereditary disorder of copper metabolism (Wilson’s disease),
-    if calcium levels in your blood are higher than normal,
-    in case of an existing vitamin A overdose
-    during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
Immun Herbal Béres film-coated tablet cannot be used in children below 12 years of age.

Take special care with Immun Herbal Béres film-coated tablets if
- you have liver and biliary tract diseases,
 - you suffer from diabetes
- you are sensitive to particular sugars (owing to the product’s sucrose and glucose contents).
In these cases talk to your doctor before taking the product.

Taking other medicines
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken any other medicines including non-prescription preparations.
The product contains vitamins, minerals and trace elements, so avoid co-administration with other products containing vitamins, minerals, trace elements and retinoids, owing to the possibility of excessive intake. To avoid interactions, at least two hours should pass between taking Immun Herbal Béres film-coated tablet and other medicines (antacids and medicines containing fluoroquinolone, tetracycline, phenytoin, penicillamine, bisphosphonate). Based on your doctor’s recommendation, the product can be co-administered with coumarin type anticoagulants and medicines containing levodopa.

Immun Herbal Béres film-coated tablets with food and drinks
Foodstuff containing high quantities of fibre and/or phytic acid (e.g. cereals, bakery products made from wholegrain flour, wheat bran) may reduce the absorption of trace elements in the product.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicines.
No studies have been conducted on the use of the active substances in pregnant women and breast-feeding mothers, so do not take the preparation during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
There are no data about the influence of the product’s active substances on fertility either.  

Driving and using machines
Immun Herbal Béres does not affect the ability to drive and operate machinery when taken in the recommended dose.

Important information about some of the ingredients of Immun Herbal Béres film-coated tablets
This product contains sucrose and glucose. If your doctor has already told you that you are sensitive to particular sugars, talk to your doctor before taking this medicine.

Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) may colour urine yellow.

High doses of vitamin C may modify the results of particular laboratory tests, so inform your doctor prescribing a laboratory test that you take a product containing vitamin C.


3.    HOW TO TAKE IMMUN HERBAL BÉRES FILM-COATED TABLETS

Always take Immun Herbal Béres film-coated tablets as described in this leaflet. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. The recommended dose for adults and children above 12 years of age is 2x1 film-coated tablet per day.

Children:
Immun Herbal Béres film-coated tablet is not recommended for children below 12 years of age.

The film-coated tablet should be taken with lots of liquid swallowed whole after a meal in the morning and in the evening if possible.

Take the product continuously for at least 8 weeks. Following this period of time do not take it for at least 2 weeks.

If you use the product as the supplementary treatment for an already existing disease and the complaints get severe or last longer than 10 days, if you experience difficulty breathing, fever, purulent discharge or discharge containing blood, you must talk to your doctor without delay.

If you take more Immun Herbal Béres film-coated tablets than you should
Do not take more film-coated tablets than recommended. If you took more than recommended and you experience any of the side effects listed in this leaflet, or other symptoms not listed in this leaflet, talk to your doctor.

If you forget to take Immun Herbal Béres film-coated tablets
Do not take a double dose the next time because you cannot make up for the missed quantity this way. Continue as recommended in this leaflet.

If you stop taking Immun Herbal Béres film-coated tablets
In general, no harmful effects develop when stopping the treatment.

If you have any further questions on the use of this product, ask your doctor or pharmacist.


4.    POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

Like all medicines, Immun Herbal Béres film-coated tablets can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Very rarely (affects up to 1 in 10,000 users) hypersensitivity reactions (skin rash, itchy skin, respiratory allergy) may occur. Stop taking the product in this case.

If any of the side effects get severe talk to your doctor or pharmacist. This includes any possible side effects not listed in this leaflet.


5.    HOW TO STORE IMMUN HERBAL BÉRES FILM-COATED TABLETS

Store at or below 25 °C in the original packaging to protect it from moisture.

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.

Do not take Immun Herbal Béres film-coated tablets after the expiry date printed on the packaging. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.

Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment.

- Active substances:
Each film-coated tablet contains 80.00 mg ginseng root (Panax ginseng C. A. Meyer, radix) dry extract (3-4:1) (27-30%, total ginsenoside content) extraction solvent: 60% (V/V) ethanol,
24.00 mg Echinacea (Echinaceae pallida Nutt., radix) dry extract (3-5:1), extraction solvent: 30% (V/V) methanol
250.00 mg magnesium (in the form of heavy magnesium oxide), 150.00 mg vitamin C, 138.00 mg calcium (in the form of calcium hydrogen phosphate), 107 mg phosphorus (in the form of calcium hydrogen phosphate), 25.00 mg nicotinamide (vitamin B3), 12.00 mg zinc (in the form of zinc sulfate monohydrate), 5.00 mg pyridoxine (in the form of pyridoxine hydrochloride) (vitamin B6), 4.00 mg pantothenic acid (in the form of calcium pantothenate) (vitamin B5), 4.00 mg manganese (in the form of manganese sulphate monohydrate), 3.00 mg riboflavin (vitamin B2), 1.40 mg thiamine (in the form of thiamine nitrate) (vitamin B1), 1.00 mg copper (in the form of copper gluconate), 0.12 mg chromium (in the form of     chromium picolinate), 0.10 mg folic acid, 0.10 mg selenium (in the form of selenous acid mannitol granules), 0.08 mg phytomenadione (vitamin K1), 0.07 mg molibdenum (in the form of ammonium molybdate), 0.05 mg biotin, 0.120 mg (400 NE) all-(E)-retinol (in the form of retinyl acetate) (vitamin A), 22.1 mg (33 NE) α-tocopherol (in the form of α-tocopherol acetate) (vitamin E).

-Other ingredients:
Tablet core: mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, crospovidone, magnesium stearate, butylhydroxytoluene, gelatin (beef), sucrose, maize starch, modified starch, maltodextrine, colloidal hydrated silica, gum arabic (E 414), spray dried glucose syrup (21.6 mg), calcium phosphate (E 341), water.
Tablet coating: titanium dioxide, quinoline yellow (E104), yellow and black iron oxides (E 172), brilliant blue (E133), partially hydrolysed poly(vinyl alcohol), talc, soy lecithin, macrogol 3350.

14, 21, 30, 60, 90 pieces of green, oblong film-coated tablets, scored on both sides in a white HDPE container sealed with a heat adhesive foil and closed a white screw PP cap in a box.
